Technical requirements
Before you start monetizing your Telegram Mini App with Monetag, please make sure you have the following:
Telegram Mini App. Please ensure you have preliminarily created a Telegram bot (via @BotFather) and the Mini App. Also, to work with Monetag, you should have some experience using JavaScript to manage your Telegram Mini App. Check that your app is functioning and ready for integration.
Ad Placement Strategy. Decide where and how ads should appear in your app (the "Ad Integration Examples" section provides different cases of ad usage).
SDK Tag. Generate the ad tag for your app on the Monetag platform (you can check the process of tag creation here).
About the moderation process for Mini Apps in Monetag
Mini Apps on Telegram allow developers to connect to third-party Service Providers in their Mini App environment and access services from different Service Providers using Telegram apps. When you connect a Mini App to the Monetag Service provider, you are further subject to Monetag Terms, as agreed between you and the Service Provider.
According to Telegram's Terms, Service Providers may have additional terms associated with their products or services with which you must comply. According to the Monetag Terms, a Telegram Mini App cannot contain any material that:
Infringes the rights of any third party;
Violatilates of any law;
Violates Intellectual property rights;
Has racial, ethnic, political, hate-mongering, or otherwise objectionable content;
Includes Investment, money-making opportunities, or advice not permitted under law;
Includes gratuitous violence or profanity;
Has material that defames, abuses, or threatens physical harm to others;
Consist promotion of illegal substances or activities (e.g., illegal online gambling, “how to build a bomb,” counterfeiting money, etc.);
Includes software Pirating (e.g., Warez, P2P, Bit torrent, Hotline, etc.);
Work with hacking or Phreaking;
Has fraud, unofficial, untrue, false, misleading, invented, re-produced information, facts, news, offers, solutions, guidelines related to or aiming to treat in any way and at any level vulnerabilities of all kinds, including but not limited to any physical, mental, psychological, social, religious, economic, scientific vulnerabilities;
Includes any illegal activity whatsoever;
Has any spoofing, redirecting, or trafficking from adult-related websites to gain traffic.
Our policy team will reject Telegram Mini Apps that include the abovementioned information during the moderation process. Please note that Monetag policy moderators check the Apps not only at the start but throughout the work period on Monetag.
