Monetag works on a revenue share model: you receive a share of what advertisers pay for the ads shown to your visitors, up to 80% depending on your traffic quality, ad formats, and your terms with Monetag. In your account, this is shown as CPM, the amount you earn per 1,000 ad impressions.
CPM is dynamic. Our optimisation tools and a wide pool of advertisers help us find the best-paying ads for each visitor, but the final rate depends on the GEO and device of your audience, the ad format, how your visitors interact with the ads, traffic quality, and seasonality. Two sites with the same amount of traffic can earn very differently.
You can track your earnings in the Statistics section of your account, filtered by site, zone, country, OS, and ad format. Statistics are shown in EST and update during the day, so check the final numbers at the end of the day.
You can also earn 5% of the revenue of publishers you refer to Monetag through the Referral program. Your payout schedule and extra benefits depend on your level in the Monetag Priority Program.
