Why was my payment rejected?

Sometimes payments can be rejected, but in most cases, there is a solution for every issue.

Here's a list of the most common rejection reasons and how to deal with each of them:

  • Your account wasn't verified. At the moment, Monetag is in the process of integrating a KYC system into our business cycles.

    Solution: Please email us at contact.us@monetag.com so we can check your profile and guide you through the next steps.

  • You have set up incorrect payment details.

    Solution: Review and update the payment information in your profile. In some cases, additional verification of the payment method may be required. Feel free to contact our support team for more information about the issue.

  • You didn’t link your Payoneer account to your Monetag account.

    Solution: Please refer to this manual to link your Payoneer account to Monetag.

  • The balance of your Webmoney account exceeded its maximum limit.
    Solution: withdraw some funds from your Webmoney account, add another Webmoney profile, or change the payment method. More info can be found here.

  • The Wire transfer was returned from your bank due to incorrect details.
    Solution: Review and update the payment information in your profile, and contact your bank for clarification.

  • The error on the payment method side.

    Solution: The number of the error or more detailed information will be given in the comment to the rejected payment. Please contact your payment method's support team for more info.
